I arrived at them due to some turbulence (protests) in the city center, which caused the closure of all the chosen alternatives in the area.The food is sufficient in terms of quantity (fish and chips medium), but nothing more than that: the taste is of burnt oil, intensely used for frying, without a bit of salt or other spices.The place itself is very spartan, offering minimal conditions to serve a quality meal, and serving comes down to minimal interaction and disinteres towards the customer, as well.As a personal choice, I'll never come back here!

Absolutely splendid this was. As soon as I entered the place I could smell the fish and chips in the air and when I actually got mine it has got to be better then all the fish shops I've been to. I ordered medium fish and chips with drinks and it came in about - minutes. That's actually fast service for serving all that food. The cooks were having some laughs with us while the Netherlands vs England match was on and it just made the atmosphere so friendly. I placed an order today at :, received my food at :.I called on separate occasions enquiring about my order and on all occasions was told a different story. From my order being wrapped, to it'll be another minutes.When the food arrived it was cold, batter was soggy.Terrible. Easily the worst takeaway I've had from Hull. I'd order from the burger van outside Spiders before ordering here again!
